The Lily Spa explores heroic behaviour that can be small ‘h’ as in day to day choices we make to protect those we love. I wanted to develop a fun TV mystery series based in England so I was thinking about the scenario where a spa owner is a creep, is emotionally abusive of his spa employees and what happens when they decide to passive aggressively help his karma ripen but he ends up unexpectedly dead.
