Proposal title: Manuscripts: The medieval times starting around the fifth century with the metamorphosis from the Roman Empire into Christianity is a period were the development of religion and knowledge is going to take place by using one of the world's most dangerous relics: books. This article is meant to look brieftly but very informative and handy into the evolution of the codex, beginning with the structure of the codex, how it was made, the meaning of the colors used to paint some of the books, different types of codex, the names of the particular letters made in medieval books, and also two important examples about these codex: a inside look into the Physiologus and the book of Kells. This article is meant to be for everyone, even as a small guide to understand better how books were made and how our history was recorded, understanding the importance of the monasteries who made possible to preserve even older knowledge which some of it can be found nowdays. The lenght may be roughly around 2,500 words, but, if more needed regarding the themes of: the papyrus and early examples of medieval books it can also be included.

1.2: Type of manuscripts: Terms and small descriptions; some terms: misal, breviary, psalter.
1.3: Type of letters: Small descriptions regarding the initials (example: zoomorphic).
Chapter 2: Bestiary the Physiologus: What is about and some symbolism analysis.
Chapter 3: Manuscript of Kells:
3.1: Origin, era and place.
3.2: Distinctive aspects of the manuscript of Kells.
3.3: Symbolisms of the Gospel.
