I wanted to experiment with this flower, the most part of the work is color correction from a normal photo I took in a botanical garden.

ome things shine in unexpected colors under UV lights and they seem coming from another planet, as these lily pads.

This flowers grow in the backyard and I see them daily, I use to watch them in their pink shiny color, but once I set them under Uv Lights everything changed.

I found this moribund bee when I was lying on the sand on the beach. After 30 minutes the bee did no move anymore. I decided take her to my studio to take a macrophotos under Uv lights. I was a surprised! I didn't expect how the Uv Light made the bee eyes react this way to the Uv Wavelenghts.

I love the way the tips of the leafs got vivid warm colors contrasting with the soft shades of velvet blue… One of my favs so far...
