Valencia · Japón muestra la silueta de una fallera como una imagen esencial, reducida a perfil y contraste. El rojo marca un espacio intenso cercano a lo festivo y lo ritual y el negro fija la figura como si fuese una huella.
En el rostro aparecen líneas y signos que no decoran: sugieren memoria, paso del tiempo y mezcla de referencias. La obra habla de la fusión entre cultura valenciana y japonesa sin recurrir a símbolos evidentes; lo hace a través del lenguaje gráfico, las capas, las texturas y el juego entre lo que se ve con claridad y lo que queda en sombra. El resultado es una identidad compartida que no se “suma”, sino que se transforma.

On the face, lines and marks appear that do not decorate: they suggest memory, the passage of time, and a blending of references. The work speaks of the fusion between Valencian and Japanese culture without resorting to obvious symbols; it does so through graphic language, layers, textures, and the play between what is seen clearly and what remains in shadow. The result is a shared identity that is not simply “added together”, but transformed.
