As the day gives way to twilight, a street bathed in autumn gold invites a reflective walk. The silhouettes of passersby intermingle with the majesty of amber trees, creating a painting that evokes tranquility and timeless beauty. This was the location that I was looking forward to find in order to create this long term idea and this photographic series. It consists in more than three pictures but just this snack peek of three of the related pictures, will be exhibited tomorrow at @13cuadrosmadrid in the lovely, for now, annual exhibition of “Lo que escondemos en las sombras”. If I were you I won’t miss out this opportunity to appreciate up close, a different side of my work which is the one among all that I do really care of that much with no social media’s in between of my long photography career’s pathway. I’m not pretty keen on using IG for this job as I think all of has evoque into a Social media where everything is permitted and we can misinterpreted the meaning of each career pathway. In spite of this clarification, I know that it has a strong weight when it comes to appreciate your real work not seen but “in the shadows”. Part of my Mother Earth series, this digital work symbolises that when we look into the mirror, what we see is ourselves reflected as Mother Earth, as we are part of it with all its inherent beauty, The work is in fact a mirror (the lake reflecting the mountains in autumn) inside a mirror, an idea that I wanted to play with.
