Poetic Nightmares Insomnia Poems
“The Constant Struggle”
Upon life's vast stage, where eternity unfurls,
Satan, the cunning, spreads his wicked curls,
With trickery and deceit, he weaves his darkened swirls,
Sowing seeds of chaos, where despair unfurls.
If humanity shunned vanity and lies,
The malice of evil would meet its demise,
Yet, ensnared in his web, we succumb to disguise,
And fall prey to his schemes, where darkness lies.
If judges upheld justice with unwavering sight,
And leaders rejected greed, embracing what's right,
Then the radiance of truth would shine bright,
Dispelling the shadows of Satan's blight.
But in our society, blinded by our own plight,
We allow evil to flourish, consumed by its might,
Leaving our children to face the endless night,
In a world of confusion, devoid of light.
As the relentless clock ticks, marking the flight,
We battle in darkness, with all our might,
Between hope's fervent plea, seeking respite,
And shadows lurking, waiting to ignite.
In this eternal drama, where we take flight,
Will faith's beacon guide us, through the night?
Can we conquer evil, with love as our kite?
In this cosmic dance, where wrong and right.
