Stacey is a successful chef who left her hometown and traveled the world with a TV show of food. Her dad passes, and she needs to go back and take care of her childhood house, and the only chance she has to do it are the holidays. She returns to her hometown and bumps into her youth love, James, which she thought she had forgotten. She needs to sell the house, and he is the contractor, so they spend a month trying to fix the house because she needs to go back to Italy to her fiance. James is also dating someone. In this month they spend together, they both fall in love again, but a week before Christmas, when they both are about to confess their love for each other, The fiancee travels from Italy to be with her. The high school boyfriend then decided to get married when they saw them together. They both end up deciding to end the other relationship and stay together. The movie ends when they celebrate Christmas together in her mom's house, and she decides to open a restaurant in town.
