This weekend is Mother's day. The rumpled sheets Touch me with their coldness The feelings I can’t repeat Still play in my mind On my body The parts of me that ache Forces me to deceive them To relieve them of their pain Your body stained Now that you’re gone The phantom of you lingers on   in the stroke of a willing hand But these are the lies They aren’t real You are not what I feel This is wrong….. You keep telling me what I’ve already  heard no matter what you say They ain’t nothing but words The truth might be in them and they probably make sense to you I just know how they make me feel I know what’s real, but you keep talking Your persistent buzzing, in my left ear, is like   a fly trying to escape from a closed window You can take just so much of that noise before you either let it out or kill the fucker SO SHUT THE FUCK UP!
