El sistema de simulación sitúa al usuario en un entorno virtual de una central de esterilización y permite asir los diferentes instrumentos quirúrgicos de una agrupación (contenedor), prepararlos para el lavado automatizado, revisar su limpieza, montar nuevamente en el contenedor y prepararlo para su esterilización y someterlo a un ciclo en autoclave de vapor, además de registrar los pasos en un sistema de trazabilidad informatizado, colocar los indicadores y controles pertinentes, comprobar su resultado y emitir etiquetas de producción para su lectura óptica.
