Este tema se creó hace mucho para una de mis anteriores bandas, no llego a concretarse nunca y quedo en el baúl de canciones y maquetas que todo compositor tiene en su ordenador. Cuando la encontré y la volví a escuchar recordé lo mucho que me gustaba la melodía y decido nuevamente trabajarla hasta llegar a lo que es Melody in the Dark. Sobre el nombre el track, tuvo varios, no sabía con qué nombre bautizarlo ya que cuando lo escuchaba de inmediato se me venía a la mente una variedad de cosas destacando un ambiente oscuro, caos, furia, fuerza etc. etc. etc. Y junto a todo eso una melodía que entregaba todo lo contrario, que para mí era como un escape, como la esperanza ante todo ese caos y oscuridad.
