Flash fiction, non-fiction comical story of an event that took place during my teenage years.

Vestfold, Norway. Near future. The mother-of-two, BENEDICTE (34), a former raver in the 90s, is trying hard to keep her family together. She and her ex-husband, JON (36) have two children. Their son, MAX (11) is an avid gamer and their daughter, RONJA (19) is primarily focused on attaining affirmation from online social media platforms. Life as they know it is turned upside down when an extraterrestrial race called the WIDOWS enter the Earth’s atmosphere. Lead by their evil leader MAMA, they have slaughtered their way through the Universe looking for a special hormone that is essential for them to reproduce; testosterone. Strategically, they point out the most peaceful place on Earth, Vestfold, and start abducting young women in an attempt to seduce and then prey on men. Their goal; impregnating the men. The stakes are raised when JON sneaks out of the house on a day that he is taking care of the kids. RONJA, his daughter, is just as mischievous and does the same thing, heading out on a road trip with her friends. They both leave MAX at home alone. RONJA and her friends are abducted by the WIDOWS. BENEDICTE finds out about RONJA’s abduction and is filled with fury. She decides to slaughter every WIDOW in an attempt to save her daughter. Her alien shapeshifting neighbor, MELVIN, helps her by defying the orders he has received from The Cosmic Council not to interfere with anything happening on Earth. He creates balls of lightning he calls, ‘Great Balls of Fire’. With them, he changes BENEDICTE'S DNA and makes her a superhuman. She morphs into an aggressive alien-slayer with deadly laser light-sticks. BENEDICTE heads out on a violent and bloody mission, while her ex-husband does everything to hide his alien pregnancy. JON is accompanied by DR PETER who discovered that JON was pregnant and he assumes a, ‘fatherly’ role. The battle against the WIDOWS becomes increasingly difficult and when BENEDICTE gets into trouble, MELVIN has to help to create more superhumans. Defying the Cosmic Councils orders once more, he bands together a group of odd superhumans with strange powers, a sort of supergroup.
