This is a ragtime solo guitar piece that I wrote a few years back. It's in the key of A major. I was inspired by the music of Scott Joplin's "Maple Leaf Rag", Steve Howe's "The Clap", and Lenny Breau's "Freight Train" and Chet Atkins' "Back Mountain Rag", in particular.
In coming up with the title I realized that it was a rag and kept coming up with images of a misty mountain top, hence the Led Zepellin song "Misty Mountain Hop" influence - eventhough this piece sounds nothing at all like the Led Zep classic.
