Sylvarcon 2049 is an interactive narrative video game set in a cyberpunk universe. Players alternate between two protagonists — Claire, an operative from the RECON agency, and Ethan, an underground hacker — as they uncover the hidden truths behind Lazarus, a population control system that defines the future of society.
The work features an original script, branching dialogues, Korean manhwa–style visual art, interactive environments, unique character design, a mission-based system, hacking mechanics, and an original soundtrack with voices and music.
The narrative unfolds through multiple chapters where player choices directly shape the storyline. This transmedia approach expands beyond the game itself, with comic adaptations that further develop the universe and its characters.
Beyond its artistic and narrative dimensions, Sylvarcon 2049 integrates authentic cybersecurity concepts into gameplay. Missions are inspired by real-world practices in hacking, digital forensics, cryptography, and cyber defense, transforming the interactive experience into both an immersive cyberpunk drama and a practical exploration of the digital underground.
The registered work includes code files, technical documentation, visual resources, audio content, and narrative scripts, all forming an integral part of the video game as an interactive creative work.
