Composición musical de enero de 2000, con título original She only was a dream, se adapto a ...only was a dream para el videoclip.

Javier es un joven que estudia Arquitectura en Italia con el programa Erasmus. Allí conoce y se enamora de Margherita, estudiante italiana. Su amor parece sólido pero, durante unas vacaciones de Navidad, él regresa a España para celebrarlas en familia y cae en la tentación de ser infiel a Margherita con su ex prometida. Cuando Margherita se entera, no le perdona. Él hace todo lo posible para volver con ella hasta que, por fin, un día lo consigue. Pero su amor es imposible. Él debe incorporarse a trabajar en el estudio de arquitectura de su padre. La distancia acaba separándolos. Muchos años después, la hija de Javier conoce al hijo de Margherita y se enamoran. Esta vez sí que triunfa el amor. Las escenas se desarrollan mezclando representación de los personajes, con danza flamenca y canciones italianas de las décadas de los 60 y 70 (del siglo XX) con arreglos flamencos.

El vals del silencio, compuesto en agosto de 1999, adaptada para pieza de piano en enero de 2021 y masterizado con instrumentos virtuales en enero de 2025.
