Prince Neren and Araminta are childhood friends living in the prosperous kingdom of Realis. Araminta will, in time, become a famous warrior, and Neren is to inherit the supernatural powers of the Great Wolf, a mythic creature no one living has seen with their own eyes. Neren and Araminta fall in love, but realize it at different times and opportunity keeps eluding them. Times of danger signal the return of the Great Wolf, and the secret forces that surround it burden the young prince.

The Thunderson is the first series created by Ava Leiva within an expanded universe called The Ragnarök series. Set in a fantasy world inspired by the Viking Age, The Thunderson uses Norse mythology along with the ancient Norse legends as an inspiration to give birth to a new creative universe. Ambition and allure, materialized in the shape of human-like gods that battle in an attempt to steer the world in their favor. The relevant presence of female characters, who abandon their old roles to take the ones of powerful shield-maidens, warrior goddesses, implacable Valkyries and ferocious Vikings, whom will have a starring leadership in this challenge against the world. The power of spirit, represen- ted through the courage and assertiveness of characters who constantly challenge the enforced fate, sending a hopeful message of salvation to The Land of Men. A Viking atmosphere, that reveals a world as realistic and savage as appealing that strives to expand. The unbridled passion to dominate a lost, extinct and forgotten world, the world of ancient magic and the beasts. The attractiveness and solem- nity of the symbolism, represented through the runic magic and elements such as TYRFING, the cursed sword. Black holes, tunnels that will open the doorway to other worlds, embodied in the ancient roots of YGGDRASIL, the ancestral tree of life.
