SHOW TAMBORES EN CARNAVAL Directly from Cuba and for the first time in the United States, a show that celebrates the best of Cuban, Latin American and international music with a production of this magnitude and dimension never before seen in South Florida. More than 45 artists including dancers, singers, live musicians, variety artists and actors, dressed in lavish costumes and accompanied by impressive sets and scenic effects, take the viewer through fifteen separate segments that will make the different rhythms that are showcased come to life in a Las Vegas style show, but with Latin vitality. Each scene will be part of a musical mosaic that sees the progression of Cuban music from our African roots to the present day, a fusion of rhythms and harmonies that is our reality. Each segment is designed to illustrate in an entertaining and colorful way the time the rhythm was popular and its greatest exponents; celebrating our traditions, but in a modern and dynamic way. A band comprised of 16 of the most outstanding Cuban musicians at an international level will make gala of their talent playing live from our most primitive and tribal music, through the mambo, the cha cha, bolero, among many others, taking us through its progression to today's music, including heartfelt tributes to two musical goddesses: Celia Cruz and Donna Summer. A dance troupe of more than 25 dancers under the artistic direction and choreography of Darcy Ima, accompanied by six singers, will hold the viewers’ interest at all times ensuring the variety and dynamics of the show. Singing, dancing, sets, costumes, special effects, audio-visual... all this and more will make Que Suenen los Tambores a unique experience that will mark a before and after in South Florida’s nightlife.
