"Oh Janice (And Nothing Happened)" es una canción escrita, compuesta, interpretada, grabada (en todas sus partes y pistas), producida, mezclada y masterizada integramente por Alvaro Amarante Sánchez (conocido como Alan James en Beev Rations), fundador y líder de Beev Rations.
Compuesta el 12 de diciembre de 2017 con el título "Oh, Janice", el 12 de febrero de 2018 se graban las tomas para una demo básica, terminada el día siguiente. Con esta demo como base, durante el otoño de 2019 se graban tomas de bajo, guitarra solista y coros, reelaborando también la batería. Como single, el master final data del 14 de diciembre del mismo año. Al día siguiente, una versión alternativa (incluída en el LP "The Essential"), con intro y outro ligeranmente diferentes, es terminada. El 26 de diciembre de 2019 se lanzan ambas versiones.
Se trata de una canción que combina blues, country y psicodelia, dentro de los géneros de Indie, Bedroom pop y Roots rock.
