Feliza
09/08/2020
The granddaughter of the late Colombian sculptress Feliza Bursztyn travels with her son Ricardo from Texas to Bogotá to sell some of the scrap metal sculptures her mother inherited from Bursztyn after her death. Feliza needs the money in order to pay the hospital bills of her grandfather, and also to find a home for herself and Ricardo. But selling the sculptures will prove to be harder (and more dangerous) than expected when Pablo, the inheritor of Bursztyn’s legacy, invites Feliza to inhabit her late grandmother’s house, which he’s kept intact. The moment she and Ricardo walk into Bursztyn’s old house, Feliza will find her identity, her motherhood and her life threatened in a land haunted by deceptions, illusions, police officers, memories, ghosts, and sharp, dangerous scrap sculptures.
