At the very base of the most ancient oak at the centre of the deepest darkest wood, where archaic trees tower above the rest of the forest, whispering forgotten secrets to the squirrels and the cuckoos, there resides a door too small for any girl or boy to crawl through.
And if you're lucky enough to be visited by the old hag when she's done with feasting on children, and if you're sharp witted enough to strike a fair deal with her, she may grant you a tincture to shrink you down to the size of a Pixie. For then you would be able to venture through, and discover a secret realm beyond that enchanted wooden door.
Beyond it, leads to another forest far, far away where the treetops sparkle like a cascade of diamonds under the sun. They stretch high into the sky, their leaves a myriad of silvered verdant and aureate. Some leaves even change colours with the mood of the forest, creating a mesmerising dance of hues with every gentle breeze. The canopy above, so dense that it filters the sunlight into a soft, dappled glow, casting the forest floor in a perpetual state of magical twilight, where everything seems to be bathed in a gentle, luminescent glow.
The ground is carpeted with velvety moss so plush that with each step, one might feel as if they're walking on freshly baked meringue. Interspersed among the moss are flowers of every imaginable shape and colour. Some of these flowers hum soft lullabies, while others stand tall and firm like natural lamps emitting a gentle moonlight hue, illuminating the paths for the travelling creatures that inhabit the forest.
