Julia y Will, una mujer joven y un hombre de mediana edad beben juntos en un bar. Pronto se encuentran en un espacio extraño, fluido; un limbo en el que ni el tiempo, ni los objetos, ni las relaciones entre las personas parecen fijas, si bien sí siguen patrones. El cortometraje es una alegoría de las relaciones entre los arquetipos de víctima y verdugo y la forma en la que estos se perpetúan en la repetición como lo hace una espiral, volviendo una y otra vez sobre mismo punto, aunque variando su posición.
