THE DESECRATION is an eight-episode neo-noir thriller set in a fractured, dystopian nation. When the President of Sumerica orders the exhumation of The General—a revered national figure—a series of violent deaths begins to target individuals at the center of political and economic power.
As fear spreads, the killings are widely perceived as the result of a curse unleashed upon the country. JC, a private investigator, is hired to uncover the truth. But as his investigation deepens, what first appears as a sequence of isolated events begins to reveal a pattern—one that extends beyond conspiracy into something more systemic.
Caught between competing forces and hunted from all sides, JC is drawn into a reality where the boundaries between truth and belief begin to collapse. As unrest escalates and the nation moves toward instability, he is forced to confront the possibility that the violence is not random—but part of a structure already in motion.
As the system begins to reveal itself, control shifts from the visible to the unseen—suggesting that power does not operate through force alone, but through the shaping of perception itself. What JC is uncovering is not simply a series of events, but a mechanism—one that may not be intended to be stopped, but sustained.
