The overarching goal is to encourage emerging designers to develop a practice that aligns creativity with ecological responsibility and cultural memory.
1. Cultivate Resourcefulness and Material Literacy: materials and materialities as cultural and ecological mediums.
2. Challenge Paradigms: Provide a critical response to extractive, homogenising production systems by reactivating undervalued material flows.
3. Embrace Stewardship: Shift the participant's role from consumer to Steward (Bookkeeper) of nature's, honouring the material's entire lifecycle.
