Muertos Rockin’ All Night is a conceptual horror-electro-surf album that fuses the darkness of Halloween with the colorful traditions of Día de Muertos. Created by COSPRAX, the record blends retro rockabilly, darkwave synths, disco beats, and folkloric Mexican imagery into a unique musical universe.
The album is set in a cosmic horror lore: the Lubraudianos, an alien race whose cursed blood defeats their monstrous enemies, the Graktelokthen. Their near-war under the blood-red moon becomes the central myth that unites the songs. Through this story, each track explores encounters with monsters, vampires, mummies, skeletons, and spectral mariachi bands, transforming them into dancefloor anthems.
Musically, the record draws from horror surf-rock of the 1960s, electronic disco, and Mexican traditions, creating an atmosphere that is both spooky and festive — a haunted fiesta where life and death celebrate together.
