LEYENDO LA recepción crítica que recibió la obra de Stefan Zweig, me sorprende la cantidad de autores, con Arendt a la cabeza, que le reprochan su pasivismo: Zweig, te dicen, se limitó a salvarse de su tiempo en lugar de tomar partido político (¿o lo que le reprochan es que fuera europeísta y cosmopolita en lugar de enorgullecerse de su judaísmo?). Si le reprochamos esto a Zweig, igual nos cargamos a gran parte de los escritores de Occidente. Tomemos como ejemplo a Nietzsche, Rimbaud, Baudelaire
