"Heart of the Earth" is an original literary work that blends poetic fiction, symbolic storytelling, and ancestral spirituality. Structured as a series of transformative chapters called “portals,” the narrative follows Aluna, a young girl from the Kogi people of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, as she journeys across inner and outer worlds guided by sacred symbols and spirit animals—a jaguar, a hummingbird, and a whale.
In parallel, the story presents Marcela, a woman living in Scotland who begins to experience spiritual visions that connect her to Aluna’s world.
