About the work
Project for an office complex located in Milan, near Centrale station, consisting of two parts: a lower concrete building (the Rock) which is intended for public use and a glass tower building (the Diamond), intended for private IT offices. The building connects two parallel streets which are Via Boscovich and Via Capellini. With the idea to separate the two main functions for the public, in the horizontal volume, and the private one vertically, with transitional spaces serving both in the intersection. The public space adapts to the heights of the surrounding building, connects the difference in level with a slope and below it creates a public space connected to the city.
