"Good wood" es una canción original de la banda musical Beev Rations, compuesta, escrita, interpretada, grabada (en todas sus partes y pistas), producida, mezclada y masterizada integramente por Alvaro Amarante Sánchez (Alan James en Beev Rations), fundador y líder de Beev Rations.
"Good wood" fue compuesta en noviembre de 2016. Las grabaciones para la mezcla tuvieron lugar entre diciembre de 2016 y enero de 2017. El proceso de mezcla, edición y masterización se completó el 11 de marzo. Con una duración de 2 minutos y 6 segundos, puede enmarcarse en los estilos de neoclassic rock, roots rock o simplemente indie. Más concretamente es una mixtura de country, pop-rock melódico y standard, portando el aroma de los 50s-60s, con un claro componente humorístico y efectista.
