In strange orbits 06 - Krogan Honor
06/16/2019
Ramón Somoza García
A new adventure of the little girl lost in space! 15,000 light-years away from home, Tanit is aware that things are very different for a girl her age than they would be in human space. There, for example, nobody would be trying to kill her. But the fact of being married with two huge Krogans, aliens not unlike dinosaurs, is very reassuring. She is finally safe, they will protect her with their lives. What she does not expect is that the peculiar sense of honor of this species would bring her again into trouble... not to speak about the fact that the past will always pop up its ugly head. Only eleven years old, she will be the one that will have to protect her new family... proving that her honor is the greatest of all.

Red Horizon
03/26/2026
Muted Symphony Muted Symphony , Muted Symphony ,
The crew of the ISV Areion makes its first landing on the Martian surface, touching down on the vast plains of Elysium Planitia. Under a muted sky filtered by suspended dust, the landscape unfolds as an endless expanse of red terrain and dark basalt formations. One by one, the astronauts step onto the ground, their movements measured, their attention shifting between the mission and the overwhelming scale of their surroundings. The descent module remains behind them, connected by a single ramp—their only link to the vessel above. As operations begin, the crew moves with quiet precision. Systems activate, the rover rolls down, and the android units ORPHEUS and TALOS join the surface operations. Everything functions exactly as expected—data confirms stability, communications are established, and the first steps of human presence take form. And yet, beneath this apparent normality, something feels subtly out of place. The stillness of the environment is complete, almost excessive, as if the planet had remained entirely unchanged.

The Cradle of Souls (In strange orbits 31)
05/14/2026
Ramón Somoza García
Can you rescue a soul from Death? Young Tanit faces the greatest challenge anyone could ever encounter: ruling an empire of more than two billion beings belonging to 39 intelligent species, each with its own problems, mentalities, and civilizations. Can she be liked by everyone? Although voluntarily chosen by each of the species, if just one in a million hates her, she still has more than two million enemies. The bad news is that there are likely to be many more. Someone is assembling a fleet, and it can't be for trade. To make matters worse, they will attempt to take her life, mortally wounding her loved ones. Will Tanit be able to snatch her beloved from Death itself? An ancient legend about the Cradle of the Souls may hold the answer. And perhaps hers are not the only ones who need to be rescued... Thirty-first episode od the popular Spanish hard science fiction series "In strange orbits".

CCF Light Cone
05/13/2026
Captain Cookie Face Universe
An interactive dual-panel simulator exploring the one-parameter family of memory-coupled iteration maps E(n+1) = E(n)² + β·E(n−1), where β ranges continuously from −1 to +1. The top panel renders the escape-time fractal (Julia-like set) in real time for each β value. The bottom panel displays a rotatable 3D cone whose cross-sectional radius at each β represents the average radius of the corresponding connected set, visualizing the full parameter space as a geometric solid. At β = +1 (emission, full memory), the map is E(n+1) = E(n)² + E(n−1) — the CCF Set, the nonlinear memory extension of C₂. The connected set contracts to its smallest radius. At β = −1 (absorption, inverse memory), the map is E(n+1) = E(n)² − E(n−1). At β = 0 (free space, no memory), the map reduces to E(n+1) = E(n)², the standard quadratic iteration, and the connected set is a near-circle at maximum radius. The 3D cone encodes the conformal structure J(β)ᵀGJ(β) = βG from Proof 3, where β is the fifth coordinate e in the parent signature sig(3,2). The cone axis is the β parameter; each ring is the measured fractal boundary at that β. The resulting shape — wide at β = 0, contracting toward both endpoints — is the CCF light cone in parameter space. Slider and preset buttons allow continuous β exploration. The fractal panel supports zoom (scroll/pinch), pan (drag), and adaptive iteration depth. The 3D cone supports mouse/touch rotation.

From C₂ to Pyramid
05/12/2026
Captain Cookie Face Universe
An interactive 3D simulator visualizing the complete algebraic chain from the minimal memory recurrence C₂: x(n+1) = x(n) + x(n-1) to the Kepler triangle and pyramid geometry. The simulator offers two synchronized views — Mathematical and Human — of the same structure, with independently toggleable layers and mouse/touch rotation. The Mathematical view builds the chain in six layers: the parent space sig(3,2) on R⁵ with dim = 5 = Δ(C₂); the Minkowski slice sig(3,1) with null cone; the hyperbolic space H³ embedded as the upper hyperboloid t² − r² = 1; the golden point (√φ, φ) lying on H³, verified by φ² − φ = 1; the Kepler right triangle with sides 1 : √φ : φ and angle arctan(√φ) = 51.83°; and the pyramid whose face slope equals the Kepler angle. The Human view shows the same pyramid and Kepler triangle from a ground-level perspective, with spatial axes replacing signature labels. All geometric values — φ = (1+√5)/2, √φ, the Kepler angle, the hyperboloid embedding — are computed live from C₂ data. No values are hard-coded independently. The pyramid height √φ and base half-width 1 produce slope arctan(√φ) = 51.827°, matching the measured face angle of the Great Pyramid of Giza within archaeological precision. Built in vanilla JavaScript with Canvas 2D rendering, perspective projection, and smooth layer interpolation. Part of the Captain Cookie Face Universe (CCFU) framework deriving geometric structure from C₂ algebraic symmetry.

CCF Set with Null Cone — Light-Matter and Light-Space Recurrences
04/27/2026
Captain Cookie Face Universe
An interactive fractal explorer comparing the CCF Set (Eₙ₊₁ = Eₙ² + Eₙ₋₁) with the CCF Null Cone Set (Eₙ₊₁ = Eₙ² − Eₙ₋₁). Both use the same recurrence with one difference: the sign of the memory term. The CCF Set (β=+1) produces focused directional rays — the Light-Matter Recurrence, modeling χ² nonlinearity with cavity feedback. The CCF Null Cone Set (β=−1) produces divergent explosive rays — the Light-Space Recurrence, corresponding to the spatial discretization of Maxwell’s wave equation in a χ² medium. Testing all values of β from −2 to +2 confirms that only β=±1 produce ray geometry. The sign determines whether light is captured (positive, cavity, focused beam) or free (negative, open space, expansion). Both fractals exhibit 6-fold angular structure from the phase-doubling property of E². Built in vanilla JavaScript with Canvas 2D rendering, pixel-level iteration, scroll/pinch zoom, and drag panning. Part of the Captain Cookie Face Universe (CCFU) — Theory #23.
