"Heart of the Earth" is an original literary work that blends poetic fiction, symbolic storytelling, and ancestral spirituality. Structured as a series of transformative chapters called “portals,” the narrative follows Aluna, a young girl from the Kogi people of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, as she journeys across inner and outer worlds guided by sacred symbols and spirit animals—a jaguar, a hummingbird, and a whale.
In parallel, the story presents Marcela, a woman living in Scotland who begins to experience spiritual visions that connect her to Aluna’s world. Through these mirrored journeys, the narrative explores themes such as ecological awareness, generational healing, the memory of the soul, and the awakening of purpose.
The work combines elements of Latin American magical realism, Indigenous wisdom, lyrical prose, and postmodern structure. It includes original symbolic characters, non-linear storytelling, and a poetic voice that moves between the spiritual and the emotional.
Heart of the Earth also integrates transmedia elements—guided meditations, songs, visual symbols, and creative rituals—created by the author to expand the universe of the story and deepen its transformative impact.
