ABSTRACT This Final Máster Inform which is named: THE PEDAGOGICAL INTERVENTION THROUGH THEATER AT THE CLASSROOM. EXPLORING ITS PSYCHOPEDAGOGICAL PROFITS ON AFFECTIVE-EMOTIONAL EDUCATION AND VALUES EDUCATION AT GALICIA arises from the idea that theater, as a way of artistic expression, must form part of artistic education and furthermore, it must be visible and actively present at the Educational Obligatory System of our country, being a fixed component of the National Curriculum and being part of the Curricular Designs of the schools. The present research is carried out in order to establish a description about the current status of the issue in our community and about finding new data or consolidating the old arguments in order tu support this fact at our sociocultural context. Theater is explored from a pedagogic perspective to prove it as a valid tool to learn about affective-emotional education and education in values at the classrooms, in order to confirm this fact and hopping to discover any new relevant and beneficial aspects to the education and the development integrate of the human being. The methodology is a mixed research: qualitative and quantitative since the used instruments were a semistructured interview and a questionnaire, both elaborated for the occasion, besides the multiple documents from secondary sources that had been consulted. The interview was applied two experts in theater of our comunity. The questionnaire was applied to overage people, living at Galicia. RESUMEN LA INTERVENCIÓN PEDAGÓGICA A TRAVÉS DEL TEATRO. EXPLORANDO SUS BENEFICIOS PSICOPEDAGÓGICOS EN LA EDUCACIÓN AFECTIVA Y EN VALORES EN GALICIA surge de la idea de que el teatro, como forma de expresión artística que es, debería estar visible y activamente presente en el Sistema Educativo Obligatorio de nuestro país como una materia más de la educación artística y como componente fijo del diseño del currículo básico. Esta investigación se realiza con el fin de establecer una descripción del estado de la cuestión de esta realidad en nuestra comunidad autónoma, y de encontrar nuevos datos o consolidar los viejos argumentos que avalen dicho hecho en nuestro contexto sociocultural. Desde una perspectiva pedagógica se explora el teatro como herramienta válida para formar en educación afectivo-emocional y en educación en valores en las aulas, cuyo objetivo es descubrir aspectos relevantes y beneficiosos para la educación integral y el desarrollo del individuo. En lo que a la metodología se refiere, nos encontramos ante una investigación mixta: cualitativa y cuantitativa, ya que los instrumentos empleados fueron una entrevista semiestructurada y un cuestionario elaborados ambos para la ocasión; además se han consultado múltiples fuentes documentales. La entrevista se ha realizado a dos expertos en docencia teatral de nuestro entorno. El cuestionario fue aplicado a gente mayor de edad y residente en Galicia.
