Accade che una pulsione interiore altra ci persuada a resistervi, a non fuggire. Così a ripetuti impatti violenti segue la nostra risposta, che perde via via di elasticità; ci deformiamo, e una flebile voce ci anticipa la disfatta che infine sovviene: sospettato, atteso, ma improvviso e inaspettato, perviene il cedimento strutturale, che dura un istante. E ha un suono. TITLE TRANSLATION Beyond the ultimate strength of the soul PROGRAM NOTES (Translation) Normally our instinct suggest us to avoid excessive external stimuli, as a response to a danger signal. However, an inner pulse could convince us to stay and push it back. After several impacts our response becomes weaker, it progressively loses elasticity and this disfigure ourselves. (2009) NOTE DI SALA Nella mitezza di anfratti boscosi si manifestano delicate meraviglie, il vento passa tra le foglie assieme alla luce, che bucando le fronde accende un fiore nell'opaco sottobosco, segreti svelati a chi fa silenzio. Uniti in cerchio ascoltiamo partecipi, come una geometria vivente nell'ambiente che la ospita. Nasce un canto corale, una danza fluida e circolare al ritmo della natura: è l'ecosistema che respira...possiamo sentirne ancora l'eco. TITLE TRANSLATION Shaping a circle in the wood PROGRAM NOTES TRANSLATION In the mildness of wooded ravines soft wonders show up, wind goes through leaves together with sunshine, which flames a flower in the mat undergrowth while traverses the branches: one of many secrets revealed to those who can be silent. 
We all participating, listen and shape together as a living shape in the surrounding space.
 A choral singing is rising, a singing circular dance floats following the rythm of Nature:
It's the breath of the ecosystem, and we can listen its echo again.

(2008) piece for Bb bass clarinet sounds and tape TITLE TRANSLATION Isaac's sacrifice NOTE DI SALA Un Dio padre che chiede ad un uomo di uccidere il proprio figlio. Un uomo che accetta di sacrificare il proprio figlio per il suo padrone. Un figlio che segue il proprio padre verso il luogo dove verrà immolato. L’accettazione di questo potere divino non impedisce ai due uomini, i quali sono in possesso di un minore ma importante potere, il libero arbitrio, di scegliere per propria convenienza la via più lunga e più lenta per portare a compimento il sacrificio. Il viaggio intrapreso sarà così un lento attraversamento di scenari diversi, montagne e deserti, dimensioni reali e oniriche, relazionali e intime, in cui alcune entità più di altre sapranno imporre la propria autorità, fino a catalizzare una sintesi estrema degli elementi. Coincideranno così morte e nascita, incubo e veglia, vittima e carnefice, inconoscibile sarà la differenza tra salvezza e sacrificio. Il canto del clarinetto riecheggia e si magnifica su quest’altare polifonico che lo sorregge, non c’è contrappunto ma coralità e la soluzione di continuità quasi si interrompe, per lasciare spazio all’ammirazione delle trame colorate che non fanno da rivestimento, ma sono il materiale vivo di questo luogo sacro.
