Sarah has recovered her family's manuscript but, in exchange, she will have to endure the company of a nosy and dangerously attractive vampire.
“Are you still with that stupid idea of stopping seeing me?”
“I've already explained... I...” She became defensive. She didn't want to have that conversation again.
“Are you going to trade me for that one?” he repeated the question.
“It's not about trading... besides...” She snorted. “What do you care who I'm with?
“Because you know that I'm the one you want to be with... And, if necessary, I'll make it clear to him myself.” He looked menacingly at the road where Ferdinand's car had just driven away.
Sarah walked to the door and quickly inserted her key and opened it. She had to get into her house. She didn't feel safe there. She didn't know what she would do if the vampire brushed her with his hands.
As she crossed the threshold she made things clear to Yuri...
“Don't go on with that.”
“Why?” He didn't seem to understand what she was saying.
“It is not necessary to clarify anything.”
“Why?
“Cause he will never kiss me again.”
“What?” He still didn't understand.
“Cause...” She bit her lip. “Cause I will never date him again.”
“Why don’t?” Yuri was confused.
Once inside her house she turned and looked at the vampire as she rested her hand on the door.
“I won't date him again because... because he's not you.”
Despite his presence, or thanks to it, she decides to solve the crimes that are taking place and for which she feels responsible. Several women have been found murdered and she must find a way to prevent the murderer from continuing to act. Lycanthropes, succubuses, and shifters will aid her in her efforts to stop him.
Only she can do it because that is her legacy: The Librarian's legacy.
